H.A.N.D.S , can we help kids dress for success?

Can we really dress kids for success?

Welcome back, or maybe it’s your first time here and if that is the case glad to have you here! Today my lil brother had brought home a basket of clothes that were your designer type clothing. Every article was nearly folded in the basket sitting in the kitchen, when I asked him why they were in the kitchen he said “they are way to small, I’m throwing them in the garage”. Ding dong wake up, yet another great way to help the world. I was reading Think and grow rich by Napolean Hill (great read for anyone) and he states that clothes can make a difference in your childs development. Do you remember high school? What about middle school? If so you can probably notice one certain trend, the popular kids in school present themselves in nice clothes (from my exp) and usually have designer clothes. The “unpopular” might be wearing run down or hand me down clothes. Please don’t misunderstand me I’m not writing this to bash kids who wear run down clothes in fact I know how hard it is for someone to afford those clothes on a tight budget, and frankly your food and shelter is more important. Heres how we stand together and help these people. I think we can agree on that designer clothes, along with all your love and support could really boost some of these young kids self esteem. Kids are cruel and you can probably recollect a time in which you saw the unpopular kid get picked on for his “crappy clothes” what kids don’t understand is the mental strain these comments put on these young kids. Why should these kids get picked on and treated like less of human beings because they can’t afford clothes. If you ask me it’s a shame I am pointing this out because your popularity should never be measured by such an unimportant leisure. But the world throws this problem at us, lets cope. If we all stand together and donate a designer outfit you don’t wear. What about that christmas present with the tags still on it? Maybe a nice button up that doesn’t fit? All these items can be given to our youth not only helping these kids feel like they can take on anything but also freeing up some of the budget money spent on clothes to maybe get a new roof. People could use help in many ways, can the world count on you to help do your part in helping mankind? Or can we find you helping yourself? The choice is yours, but there is only one right choice!
