Meet the HANDS TEAM: Chris Paulino

I dedicate my mind-set and work ethic to my Grandpa Tom Hanks. Being the biggest male influence in my life and taking me under his wing I now have a free minded spirit and a hard working mentality. Dedicated to you Pop-pop, here is part of the Christopher Paulino story. Born on 12-7-1987 with an identical twin brother Anthony Paulino. I am a sibling to 4; my twin, 2 younger brothers, and 1 sister. Raised by a single mother with very little help, my mom was always working while we grew up. With my mom working 40, 50, and sometimes even 60+ hours a week we had to take part in after school day cares and babysitters (we went through a lot of babysitters). I think this is why I hate the idea of jobs so much. Jobs took my mother away from me while I was growing up. While I still give all the credit in the world to my mother for raising us and doing what she had to do for our well being. I just wish we could have spent more time together.

With seeing how my mother struggled paycheck to paycheck to make ends meet, I knew that is not what I wanted to do with my life. I want to be able to enjoy my freedoms, and raise my kids the way I want to raise them. Not have day care teachers showing my kids the lessons of life. I want to be able to live the real American dream, and I believe corporate America is a dream destroyer. America should not be enslaved in a job and working 9-5 like a programmed robot or clock. Who wants to wake up in the morning and have to rush to work because they don’t want to get in trouble for being 3 min and 33 sec late? Who wants to be told they can have a 33 min lunch break after working their @$$ off for a 40+ hour work week. I don’t know why more people don’t wake up and realize that yes jobs are important, however they restrict one as a person and make it so you will never see ones full potential, I believe.

After graduating from Ellet High School in Akron, OH I enlisted in the Ohio Army National Guard with my brother for an 8 year term. I enlisted on the 26th day of March 2006 and I ETS March 26th 2012. (6 years active, 2 years inactive). During my tenor in the Army I have been stationed overseas for a 12 month tour and have learned a lot about life. Being overseas and locked up with rules and regulations, on top of spending hours on hours in towers and on duty made me realize how important my freedoms really are. Its funny how you join the Army to protect our freedoms yet you lose all of your own. After returning from duty a year later it was time to find something to do on the home-front. Bouncing from car sales, to phone sales, I was trying to find my calling. Growing up I always had an entrepreneurial mind-set and I have always loved helping people, I just never knew how they would intertwine. After helping an organization called Operation Shoebox and raising $300 in a 3 hour period, we realized we could do that everyday and touch the lives of millions. From that day forward the founders (Brandon Brown, Anthony Paulino, Matthew Blosser and I) started to build our dream and our non-profit; HANDS. From long brain waving sessions with my brothers our dream has been starting to build and I can proudly say that you really can accomplish anything you put your mind too.

The only time one is a failure is after they give up on themselves. With strong brain affirmation and positive energy the universe has been building my dreams right before my eyes; through the Law of Attraction. I keep manifesting positive outcomes in my life and in others just by living for others and not myself. Through touching others lives I have been living proof that you reap what you sow. Before I started living for others not nearly as many blessings have presented themselves in my life. Through my non profit I am going to change this world in a positive way. I am going to preach to young kids and adults on how a positive lifestyle can make things drastically change. I am going to lead by example and show people how to live for others. I plan to touch the lives of hundreds and even thousands, to help better their lives in some way, shape or form. My words are going to impact lives and spark ideas in brains that will lead to a better generation to come. I am going to show people the benefits of reaping what you sow, and how a positive attitude can improve your life as well as the ones surrounding you. I am going to be everything and more that I want to see in this world, and I am going to live it everyday. I am going to spread the word and wake everyone up to what is going on around them. I plan on making my stamp on history, and changing this world so it is forever better. For I believe if you don’t contribute to the better of humanity, you have wasted the most incredible thing on this planet; the brain. I encourage all to go out and be a dreamer, have fun and let your imagination run wild. You are only as strong as the weakest thoughts in your mind, so don’t waste your potential with limiting thoughts. Stretch yourself and open your mind to life, and to making a positive change in our world. By doing this better will come in your life and in all who associate with you. If we all work together for world peace, we will accomplish it much faster, and only God knows the possibilities. Through our hands we will change the world.

Yours truly,

Chris Paulino
