Help Us, Help Brittany Hartman

HANDS Team member, Jessica Chapman, was approached by a friend who told her about Brittany Hartman, an 11 year old girl struggling with a brain tumor. As soon as she heard about Brittany, Jessica informed the rest of HANDS Team about the situation in which Brittany Harman is facing at such a young age. It inspired the HANDS Team to rise to a call of action. We contacted Lorri March, the Campus Programs Coordinator at the University of Akron, and told of her our plans to help Brittany Hartman with some of her financial troubles during her time of need. HANDS Team was authorized to setup on the 3rd floor of the Polsky Building, by the elevators, in order to sell Unity Bands for donations to go directly to Brittany Hartman. We are so inspired by Brittany’s strength and determination at her young age that the HANDS Team has also decided that from now until March 3rd, 2012 we will put all proceeds from our eShop in the fund to help Brittany. So come on out Tuesday February 28th, 2012 from 4pm-6pm and Wednesday February 29th, 2012 from 11am-1pm to get some Unity Bands and help us, help Brittany Hartman.
